In these terms and conditions, “we", "our" and "us" refer to Home Building Forum Pty Ltd, which owns and operates www.buildoo.com.au (the “Site”) and “you” refers to registered Site members and other users/visitors.

These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the collection and use of your information as set forth in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you should not use the Site.

1. Changes to terms and conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any amended terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon our making such changes available on the Site. We will notify you of any changes by sending you an email/message or by posting a notice on the Site. Your use of the Site following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions as amended. We recommend that you periodically read these terms and conditions to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

2. Member registration

In order to access or use certain parts of the Site, you must become a member of our Site. You must complete registration by providing certain information as set out on our sign up/registration page. Refer to our Privacy Policy (available at www.buildoo.com.au/privacy-policy) for information relating to our collection, storage and use of the details you provide on registration.

You agree to ensure that your registration details, including your name and email address, are true and accurate at all times and you undertake to update your registration details from time to time when they change. If we become aware that either your name and/or email address is incorrect, we reserve the right to immediately cancel your registration and acceptance for registration in the future will be at our discretion.

We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time if you breach any of these terms and conditions.

3. Code of Conduct

By using our Site you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful, polite, inclusive, honest and helpful manner.

  • is indecent, pornographic, vulgar, profane, violent in nature or is likely to offend, insult or humiliate others based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation or any physical or mental disability;

In any case where we determine there has been inappropriate conduct we may suspend or terminate your membership to our Site and report the breach to the relevant law enforcement agency if necessary.

4. Content you publish

You are responsible for all and any postings, messages, text, photos/images, audio, video, information or any other content (collectively, “content”) you contribute to the Site. When you provide content to the Site, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence (with the right to sublicense) to use (including copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, broadcast, transmit, display and distribute) the Content in any and all media including forms not yet developed.

We reserve the right but will not have an obligation to remove or refuse to distribute any content. We also reserve the right to adapt or modify your Content for any reason including for distribution purposes.

By posting content on this website, you agree to abide by the code of conduct provisions of these terms and conditions.

We are not responsible for, and accept no liability with respect to, any content uploaded, posted, transmitted or otherwise made available on the Site by any person other than us. However we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information that you may provide to us. The site may contain links to other websites, including the display of third party advertising. Such links are provided for convenience only and we take no responsibility for the content and maintenance of or privacy compliance by any linked website. Any link on our website to another website does not imply our endorsement, support, or sponsorship of the operator of that website nor of the information and/or products which they provide.

If you contact a third party using functionality provided on our Site, including via e-mail, we do not accept any responsibility for any communications or transactions between you and the relevant third party.

Linking our website is not permitted without our permission. We reserve the right to serve you with notice if we become aware of such linking.

If necessary the invalid provision will be deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12. No Waiver

No waiver of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other terms or conditions. Any failure to assert any right or provision under these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

13. Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia and any claim made by either party against the other which in any way arises out of these terms and conditions will be heard in Western Australia and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those Courts.

14. Google Maps

The Google Maps service is made available to you under licence from Google Inc. By using the Google Maps service and any data and information accessed from Google Maps, you also agree to be bound by the Google Maps terms and conditions.
